This site is deliberately low-data. There are no advertising trackers, no third-party cookies, and no cookie banner, because nothing here sets a cookie.
Who is responsible
The controller for personal data collected on this site is Bastro Limited, 125 Dun Eimear, Bettystown, Co. Meath, Ireland. Contact: timen@compoundingtrust.com.
What is collected
Analytics. Aggregate, cookieless page statistics via Plausible Analytics. No personal data is stored, no cross-site profile is built, and visitors are not individually identifiable.
Forms. If you submit a form, a newsletter subscription, a speaking or consulting enquiry, an Academy waitlist entry or a resource download, the fields you complete are sent to me by email and stored so that I can reply and keep a record of the request.
Email. If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address and any tags describing where you signed up are stored with the email provider until you unsubscribe. Every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
Legal basis
Newsletter and waitlist entries are processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Enquiries are processed to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and on the basis of legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Processors
- Plausible Analytics: aggregate site statistics. Data processed in the EU.
- MailerLite: email list and newsletter delivery. Data processed in the European Union (Germany and the Netherlands).
- MailerLite also receives newsletter, waitlist and resource-download form submissions directly.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: a spam check on the enquiry forms. It runs only on those pages and passes a one-time token to this server; no personal data is stored by this site as a result.
- TransIP: hosting and site delivery. Speaking and consulting enquiries are handled on this server and delivered by email. Data processed in the EU.
- Google (Sheets and Drive), Academy waitlist entries are mirrored to a spreadsheet so that they can be read and acted on. The email provider remains the record of your subscription; the spreadsheet holds the same fields you submitted.
Retention
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and to meet record-keeping obligations, and then deleted.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy in a portable format, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to timen@compoundingtrust.com. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission.
